Tony Ridgway is lead singer of the legendary South African Country-rock band Rocking Horse.  They have had hits aplenty in the 80's and 90's and the new millenium and are currently recording their sixth industry album. Terry Dean and Jaco Boshoff will be performing at the Village Square Music Festival at the Waterfront Piazza on 26 and 27 April between 9am and 4 pm.

Terry Dean could be described as a world traveller, born in England, lived in New Zealand, Los Angeles and since 1994 in South Africa's most beautiful part, the Overberg. He has recorded many songs in professional recording studios in Los Angeles. Terry has played around the Hermanus area and at the Caledon Wild Flower Festival in 1999. The Terry Dean and Rose Tinted Glasses Band played in and around Hermanus for many years.

Terry has been writing his own original songs and has performed them at the Barley Corn Folk Club song contest. In 2003 he performed regularly at the Caledon Casino. He has also performed at several Hermanus Whale Festival venues. In 2004 and 2006 Terry played for Volvo Cars South Africa at their conferences with great success. He is a joy to listen to!

Ttalented local musician Jaco Boshoff is a master of the guitar, a passion since early boyhood. He has made several appearances in orchestras and musical operettas - but in more recent years his focus has shifted to song-writing and he composes most of his own lyrics. Jaco lives in Gansbaai with his wife Soné and the apple of their parents eyes, Isabella and Nine. Book this muso for your next event. Contact Nosy Rosy.

Jessica Pietersen



Brought up in a musical home, Jessica started singing at an early age and playing guitar at 14. In 2006 she was the winner of the Levi's Young Guns Band Challenge (Solo Artist) in which she featured her own compositions. On most weekends she can be found busking in the local market or at restaurants playing a selection of old favourites as well
as new hits. She is completely self taught and styles her music after
the folk greats of the 60's and 70's.
