Welcome to Hermanus Golf club.
The
golf club can easily be found,
on the main road towards
Voelklip, as you are driving out
from town we are 3.5kms from the
Marine hotel, keep an eye out on
the left side. The course
comprises of 27 holes of sheer
beauty, being 27 holes
accommodating lots of golfers is
our speciality. We have a fully
stocked golf shop with a driving
range for golfers playing at our
course, please note this is a
members driving range and not
open to the public. If you want
to test some clubs, playing the
course or taking lessons then
come along and sample the
prettiest range in the Western
Cape. Our club selection for a
club shop is unbelievable with
most of our products also
available in a demonstration
club.
At
the course for those travelling
without equipment we have a wide
selection of clubs for hire,
trolleys for hire and golf cars
for hire. Guaranteed you will
come off the course with
memories of great golf, super
surroundings and cannot wait to
come back again. At our shop you
can indulge and spoil
yourselves. We have a wide range
of up market apparel, men's and
lady's and brand name equipment.
As part of my
opening welcome there is nothing
like something for free so today
is free advice day to all those
with hooking and slicing
problems, there are 2 principal
ways to get out of them both, by
taking lessons from one of our
PGA professionals or buying a
club or set of clubs that will
help fight your weak shot. For
those of your struggling with a
fade or a slice we have drivers
that are what is termed offset
ensuring minimum movement to the
right. For those of you hitting
a hook have a close look at your
shaft, generally a hook can be
minimised by hitting a stiffer
shaft, the most up to date
driver on the market is from
TaylorMade, this magic piece of
machinery can be altered before
you play to be set up to fight
against your weak shot, you
gotta try this one! From a
technique side I will see you on
the practise tee to correct you
properly, with the aid of my
video camera we will have you
blasting down the middle in a
jiffy. From all of us at the
