Thank
you to all our new subscribers and fans.
Rosy loves you too
for loving her style, grace, intelligence, wit and mostly for
sharing our passion for Hermanus.
Being humble when adored is so misguided and unappreciative!!
Dear Rosy,
Thanks for your nicely informative and fun emails/news.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards

Love your www info site. It is the
about the most comprehensive info available on Hermanus and I
send it to many pals all over the world .
Congrats.

Hi There Rosy! Just wanted to drop
you a line to say 'Hello and thank you' from London UK.
I have a couple of friends to whom I
forward your delightful newsletter, it keeps us all abreast of
the developments in god old Hermanus. It does help to stave
off the homesickness when it's cold and dark. When Oxford
Street has lost its glamour and Picaddilly Circus starts to
seem, well, tacky, reading about home puts a spring back in
our step. You do a great job, thanks.
I was especially delighted to see a
picture of my glorious mama (Erna Dry) on the home page ( http://www.infohermanus.co.za/index.htm.)
Well, to be fair it's not 'exactly' a picture of her, but she
is in the middle of the shot and boy, did that do a number on
the heartstrings! I think I even recognised my aunt and uncle
and OUMA in there! Ahhhh.
Seeing that picture prompts the
interesting favour I have to ask of you. My family have
recently opened a new restaurant at Hornbill House, and as I
recall you have mentioned it briefly in previous issues. They
have all been totally swamped since opening night, and
therefore they have not had time to update the Hornbill
website with pictures or info detailing what's on offer there.
Obviously I am dying to see what they've done. I was
wondering, if you have time, could you do an article... with
some pictures? I'd love to share it with my friends and if you
would like me to, I could submit your article to the local SA
paper here in London.
I know it seems bizarre to ask a total
stranger to write an article so that I can find out what my
own family is up to, but it would mean a lot to me and it
would be so good for them too. Do you think it would be
possible?
Thank you and keep up the great work
Rosy!
Kindest regards
Jo
Dear Jo - thank you - you made Nosy Rosy blush! Keep on
forwarding those newsletters and Nosy intends doing a feature
on working couples in Hermanus. Watch this space!
Dear Rosy,
Congratulations again on a really informative publication.
I’m planning to support the Zwelihle entrepreneurs as much
as I can – what a good idea to showcase them. Keep up the
good work.
