Tips for your SPRING garden!
-
Feed your lawn on a monthly basis from
now on until end of summer with 2:3:2 fertilizer at the rate
of 60g per square meter (and remember to water immediately)
-
Start fertilizing flowering shrubs with
3:1:5 fertilizer
-
Remember when fertilizing: it is better
to use small quantities often rather than large
quantities less frequently
-
Now is the time to tackle the broad leaf
weeds on the lawn while they are growing actively. Apply a
selective weed killer
-
Remember to switch ON your
irrigation system and have it serviced for the growing
season
-
Now is the time to add generous amounts
of compost both to improve soil structure and serve as mulch
-
All winter pruning should now be
finished.
-
Ensure that your staked trees are not
damaged by their ties
-
Have your lawn mower serviced by a
reputable agent

IDEA OF THE MONTH.
It makes absolute sense to have a
vegetable and herb patch at home; not only because of the
ridiculous price of food, but also it brings much joy to our
souls and goodness to our bodies. It really is
not difficult to have such a project going, and also you
can have a beautiful “edible landscape”
… It is beautiful to look at, and you can eat it!
