Hello Friends!
It would be awesome if you could assist us with
our
‘CHOC 2009 Project’ – Scrub a dub dub!
There is a great need for personal hygiene items
for the cancer kiddies whilst in hospital. They
often only arrive with the clothes they have on
their backs! We had huge success last year,
thanks to you all.
This year the idea is that each child will have
their own personal toiletry bag with a few
necessities which will be replaced once a month
or when needed. Although these items are part of
our everyday lives, they are absolute luxuries
to some of these children, and not only will
this assist in them healing , but it will be
their own, and that is a great gift to these
kids.
We ask if you can, to assist us in collecting
the following items – we would like to start
filling the bags and handing them out over
May and June 2009
Items for the goodie bags
1) Bars of soap
2) Face cloths
3) Body cream
4) Tooth brushes
5) Tooth paste
6) Shampoo
7) Combs
8) Ear buddies
9) Deodorant
10) Towels
We know that times are tough on every one , and
know that it’s not always possible to help, but
if you are able to assist in anyway, you can let
me know and we will come and collect the goodies
from you.
