CANSA RELAY FOR LIFE -
One of the biggest and most heart warming community events of
the year, the Overstrand CANSA Relay For Life (RFL) is once
again taking place at the sport ground of Hermanus High School
on Saturday 27 February to
Sunday 28 February 2010. This is the second year that the
overnight mega fundraising team event, which attracted a
record-breaking crowd from all wakes of life last year, will be
presented.

Sea Rescue Music Festival
will be taking place on Saturday, 24 April at the New Harbour.
This event is not to be missed as Theuns Jordaan, Emo Adams

The Hermanus Masonic Lodge, are organising a Fund Raising
Golf Day
on behalf of the Overstrand Hospice organisation on Friday 5th
March 2010 at Hermanus Golf Club. Your much-valued

is harvest time again and for the next couple of months the

COMMUNITY INITIATIVE
Good Samaratins do exist! Vyani Macotha is the director and
brain-child of Siyavaya Traditional Arts and Performance and
their passionate aim is to re-introduce teenagers with social
problems, back into the community. “We are here to help them
re-build their self-esteem, self-realisation and
self-actualisation,” says Vyani. The project kicked off on
Friday at the Zwelihle Community Centre with a choir who
